SOFTSWISS has completed its first production migration of the Casino Platform to Oracle Kubernetes Engine, improving scalability, resilience, and software delivery as part of a larger infrastructure modernization initiative.

iGaming technology provider SOFTSWISS has executed its first production migration to Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), kicking off a broader infrastructure modernization effort for its Casino Platform. The move is designed to enhance scalability, resilience, and software delivery capabilities.

Initial casino deployments are now live on the new cloud-native architecture, with further rollouts across the Casino Platform portfolio planned. The migration expands Kubernetes use across production workloads while allowing operators to transition without altering integrations, workflows, compliance procedures, or daily operations.

According to SOFTSWISS, the upgraded architecture boosts platform resilience through automated workload management and self-healing features. It also improves stability during high player traffic, accelerates product updates and feature releases, and offers greater scalability to support business growth.

The project was completed in partnership with Oracle. SOFTSWISS redesigned core platform components, rebuilt deployment pipelines, modernized monitoring systems, and introduced new operational practices to facilitate the migration.

Sergey Kastukevich, SOFTSWISS’s Chief Technology Officer, described the move as a natural step. “Extending the entire Casino Platform to the same cloud-native architecture was a natural progression,” he stated. He added that beyond infrastructure modernization, the transformation delivers operational consistency, efficient workload orchestration, and faster, more reliable software delivery, providing a stronger foundation for future innovation.

Marta Tolosa, Oracle’s Director and Cloud Native Black Belt Leader, praised the migration as a demonstration of SOFTSWISS’s engineering strength. “Expanding Kubernetes adoption across production workloads requires expertise, coordination, and technical execution,” she said, adding that Oracle is pleased to support the team in building a more scalable cloud-native future for the Casino Platform.

SOFTSWISS noted that the Kubernetes migration represents the first phase of a broader transformation of its Casino Platform portfolio. The company continues to invest in technologies that help operators grow while maintaining performance and reliability. Engineering insights from the project will be shared at the upcoming Tech Race Summit, a conference focused on infrastructure architecture, cloud technologies, and software delivery.
