The 12-hour broadcast, aptly named "Together We Can," was televised from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. across Maltese channels TVM, ONE, NET TV, and Xejk. Throughout the day, the program featured interviews with individuals directly involved in the Foundation's work, including beneficiaries, volunteers, and project leaders, offering insights into the impact of their efforts.
The telethon highlighted projects spanning several nations, including Uganda, Guatemala, Peru, Ethiopia, Brazil, and the Philippines. These initiatives cover a broad spectrum of humanitarian aid, from establishing and expanding educational facilities and providing healthcare services to ensuring access to clean water, supporting individuals with disabilities, empowering women, and fostering broader community development.
Support for the event came from a diverse group of public figures, including members of parliament, business executives, athletes, and volunteers, all of whom appeared on the broadcast to encourage viewer donations. According to the Foundation, the funds collected will be directly allocated to its programs focused on healthcare, education, clean water, and community development within its operational regions.
