Pythia Sports and Racing1 have partnered to supply Digitain's operator network with horse and greyhound racing content, including data, pricing, and media rights, with the first integration going live by August.
Pythia Sports and Racing1 have teamed up to bring horse and greyhound racing to Digitain’s operator network for the first time. The deal, which follows Digitain’s recent acquisition of a UK license, will give the platform’s customers access to Pythia’s full racing solution—covering data, pricing, and trading support—through a single API integration.
The first operator is expected to go live later this summer, with technical integration slated for completion in August. For operators outside the UK and Ireland, the Pythia solution will be bundled with Racing1’s media rights package, known as Racing1 Markets. This package offers year-round global racing coverage spanning the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Turkey.
Racing1 Markets brings high-frequency betting opportunities, enabling Digitain’s partners to diversify their sportsbooks with premium racing content. The integration arrives as the racing calendar builds toward major summer events including Glorious Goodwood, York’s Ebor Festival, the St Leger at Doncaster (marking 250 years since the classic’s first running), the Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland in Kentucky, and the Melbourne Cup meeting in Australia.
Stephen Davison, Head of Commercial Operations at Pythia Sports, said, “We know this was a competitive process, so it means a lot to have been chosen as their horse and greyhound racing partner.” Alex Jones, Regional Sales Director at Digitain, added, “At Digitain, we're always looking to strengthen our sportsbook offering with products that deliver real value for our partners.” Jack Whitaker, Head of Commercial at ARC and spokesperson for Racing1, commented, “A platform with Digitain’s scale and reputation makes this partnership very exciting for Racing1.”
The move is part of Pythia Sports’ broader push into new operator markets, building on recent growth from its managed trading services partnership with Racing1 Markets.
