Pragmatic Solutions has launched its Player Account Management (PAM) platform in Ireland to support client operators under the country's new remote betting licensing regime. The platform ensures compliance with the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, addressing specific local requirements for the market opening.
Pragmatic Solutions, a prominent provider of enterprise Player Account Management (PAM) platforms, has officially deployed its solution in Ireland. This move positions the company to support its client operators as the country's new remote betting licensing framework commences.
The activation aligns with Ireland's recently established regulatory environment for remote betting, under which the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) will issue licenses effective from July 1, 2026. This development follows extensive work to ensure the platform meets the demands of the new regime.
The company confirmed it has completed all necessary platform adjustments, front-end development, compliance integrations, and system configurations tailored for operations under the Gambling Regulation Act 2024. These comprehensive adjustments address a range of local requirements, including specific player registration and onboarding procedures, Know Your Customer (KYC)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and age verification protocols, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) workflows, responsible gambling tools, account closure and dormant account processes, payment and cashier restrictions, regulatory display standards, and robust operational tooling, reporting, and audit capabilities.
Ashley Lang, CEO of Pragmatic Solutions, remarked on the significance of this expansion, stating that Ireland is "an important regulated market for our clients." He added that the launch underscores the company's continuous effort to equip operators entering new jurisdictions with the stability, flexibility, and compliance readiness required for confident operation.
Further emphasizing the complexity of market entry, Michael Boylan, COO of Pragmatic Solutions, explained, "Regulated market entry depends on disciplined delivery across product, compliance, engineering and operations." He highlighted that for Ireland, their primary objective was to ensure the platform, integrations, and processes were meticulously configured to satisfy local requirements from the very start of market operations.
Pragmatic Solutions' PAM platform is designed with an open and modular architecture, utilizing an API-first approach and a broad integration ecosystem. This allows operators to effectively manage player accounts, wallets, CRM, segmentation, bonus programs, KYC, AML, responsible gambling measures, fraud detection, reporting, business intelligence, and back-office functions. The company will continue to monitor the phased introduction of Ireland's regulatory framework, including the anticipated B2B supplier licensing regime, to support clients as further obligations arise.
