On July 8, 2026, Paysafe, a global leader in payment platforms, announced an extended collaboration with Tebex, a prominent monetization and growth platform for game servers and studios. This enhanced partnership sees Tebex integrating the comprehensive Paysafe Gateway into its platform, aiming to provide video game merchants with an extensive array of transaction choices for their customers, spanning traditional card payments and various alternative payment methods (APMs).
This latest development builds upon a long-standing relationship, as Tebex Checkout has featured Paysafe’s well-known prepaid eCash solution, PaysafeCard, since 2016. Through a single, streamlined integration via the Paysafe API, Tebex now gains access to Paysafe's entire suite of payment solutions. This includes efficient processing for credit and debit card transactions, all completed in a matter of seconds.
A key addition through the Gateway is Tebex's connection to Paysafe's portfolio of branded APMs, with Openbucks already live on the Tebex Checkout. Openbucks enjoys significant recognition within the American video gaming community, enabling US gamers to make online payments using cash through third-party gift cards. These gift cards are available for purchase at over 67,000 retail locations, or gamers can opt for Openbucks' proprietary Obucks digital card, which can be acquired online via authorized resellers.
