The Commission informed sports gaming stakeholders via email that a message disseminated on July 8 referred to an amendment to Ohio Administrative Code 3775-16-03 (Sports Gaming Accounts) that was originally released for public comment in May.

The proposed amendment, which seeks to eliminate credit cards as an authorized method for funding sports gaming accounts, was initially circulated for public feedback on May 6. The public comment period for this proposal concluded on May 15, and the Ohio Casino Control Commission also reviewed it during its meeting held on June 17.

Currently, the complete package of proposed rules, encompassing the specific language of the rule, comprehensive summaries, and a Business Impact Analysis, has been formally submitted to Ohio's Common Sense Initiative Office.
