Juergen Keller has been appointed co-managing director of NOVOMATIC Americas, joining Sabine Stoppel to lead commercial and operational growth in the region. He replaces Jakob Rothwangl, who will focus on strategic expansion in Germany.

NOVOMATIC Americas has named Juergen Keller as its new managing director, placing him alongside incumbent Sabine Stoppel to steer the company’s commercial growth, daily operations, and strategic expansion across North America and the Caribbean.

Keller succeeds Jakob Rothwangl, who is moving to an enlarged leadership position within the wider NOVOMATIC Group. Rothwangl’s new remit centres on advancing the group’s growth strategy and market presence in Germany.

The appointment forms part of NOVOMATIC’s long-term succession planning and is intended to reinforce the executive bench in the Americas region.

Keller first joined NOVOMATIC Americas roughly a year ago as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. In that role he helped tighten financial operations, sharpen business planning, and boost organisational performance while supporting the company’s ongoing push into new markets across the hemisphere.

Before arriving at NOVOMATIC, Keller was Managing Director of TEST-FUCHS North America, a supplier of custom test systems for civil and military aerospace. He also served as CEO and CFO of BORBET Alabama Inc., a global manufacturer of premium alloy wheels, where he oversaw financial, operational, and strategic initiatives.

“Juergen has made a significant impact in a very short period of time,” said Stoppel. She noted that his “combination of international leadership experience, financial expertise, and operational discipline” makes him a strong addition to the executive team. Stoppel added that the company expects the move to sustain its growth trajectory and deliver value to customers and partners.

Keller commented: “It is an honor to serve as Managing Director of NOVOMATIC Americas.” He said he looks forward to working with Stoppel and the team to “continue to strengthen customer partnerships, drive innovation, and build on the company’s strong foundation for future growth.”
