The NIGC reported $46.2bn in gross gaming revenue from tribal gaming in fiscal 2025, a 5.3% year-on-year increase driven by gains in seven of eight regions.
The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) has released its fiscal year 2025 gross gaming revenue (GGR) figures, showing that tribal gaming operations across the U.S. generated $46.2bn, a 5.3% increase compared to the prior year. The total is based on independently audited financial statements from 545 gaming establishments run by 246 tribes in 29 states.
Of the NIGC’s eight regional divisions, seven recorded revenue gains during the period. The agency oversees tribal gaming under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, with the latest data reflecting continued growth in the sector.
NIGC Vice Chair William (Billy) Kirkland emphasized the broader significance of the results. “The continued success of Indian gaming further underscores its importance as a means to support self-sufficiency and strong tribal governments,” he said. Associate Commissioner Sharon Avery added that the GGR figures demonstrate the commitment of tribal regulators and operators to “responsible growth and community benefit,” offering her congratulations to the tribal gaming community on another strong year.
