Monarch Casino & Resort posts record Q2 revenue and strong H1 growth

Monarch Casino & Resort has disclosed its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026, showing continued upward momentum. Q2 revenue reached a record $142.6m, a 4.2% increase year-over-year, while first-half revenue climbed 6.4% to $279.1m.

Net income improved across both periods, rising 20.4% to $32.5m in Q2 and 28.3% to $60.1m in H1. Adjusted EBITDA also grew, with Q2 hitting nearly $53m (up 3.3%) and the half-year total reaching $102m (up 10.3%).

CEO John Farahi stated: “We continue to focus on excellence by delivering exceptional product and service to our guests, while maintaining operational efficiency.” He added that the company remains dedicated to capital investments that elevate both properties and reinforce its standing in Northern Nevada and Colorado.

Segment performance in Q2 was led by casino operations, which generated $81.5m—a 2.5% rise. Food and beverage brought in $33.2m (up 3.1%), hotel revenue surged 13% to $21.6m, and other revenue increased 4.5% to $6.3m. Total operating expenses rose 1.9% to $104m, yielding income from operations of $38.6m, up 10.7%.

For the first half, casino revenue grew 5.8% to $161.3m. Food and beverage contributed $64.9m (up 4.3%), hotel revenue climbed 13.2% to $40.5m, and other revenue rose 5.5% to $12.4m. Operating expenses expanded by 1.7% to $205.6m, while income from operations advanced 22.2% to $73.6m.

In a separate initiative, Monarch’s slot machine change donation program—running on IGT equipment—has surpassed $1m in contributions to nonprofits. Participating guests can opt to redeem the full change amount, but donations have flowed to organizations including the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nevada, and the Navy SEAL Foundation.
