Lotto.com sponsors Food For Thought Denver, a Colorado nonprofit fighting childhood hunger, by backing its Rock-A-Belly fundraiser and continuing its community outreach alongside recent expansion into Puerto Rico.
Lotto.com has formed a sponsorship partnership with Food For Thought Denver, a Colorado nonprofit that provides weekend meal packs to schoolchildren affected by food insecurity.
Founded in 2012, Food For Thought Denver distributes weekly “PowerSacks” of food to children across more than 75 schools in the Denver metropolitan area. The organisation notes that roughly one in seven children in Colorado experiences food insecurity.
Under the deal, Lotto.com sponsored Rock-A-Belly, the nonprofit’s annual fundraising gala. The event convenes local officials, community figures and supporters to generate both awareness and donations for the weekend food programme. Members of Lotto.com’s Colorado team attended the gathering.
Kweku Sapara-Grant, Director of External Affairs at Lotto.com, said: “Community impact is an essential part of Lotto.com. Partnering with Food For Thought Denver allows us to directly support an organization that is making a meaningful difference.”
Bob Bell, Founder of Food For Thought Denver, added: “We’re proud to stand alongside Lotto.com in the fight against food insecurity. Their partnership not only elevates our work but also sends a powerful message about what’s possible when organizations come together to serve others.”
The sponsorship forms part of Lotto.com’s wider community engagement strategy in the jurisdictions where it operates, extending the company’s influence beyond its core lottery courier business. Earlier this year, Lotto.com also teamed up with the National Council on Problem Gambling to promote Problem Gambling Awareness Month, distributing responsible gambling resources and boosting awareness.
Separately, the company recently rolled out its lottery courier platform in Puerto Rico — its first market outside the US and the first in a predominantly Spanish-speaking territory. The initial launch includes draw games such as Powerball, Double Play and Loto Cash.
