IGT PlayDigital enters the South African iGaming market with 20 titles via Hollywoodbets, including Cleopatra and Cash Eruption, with plans for 20 more games in the coming months.
IGT PlayDigital has made its first foray into the South African online gaming market, launching an initial suite of 20 titles exclusively through operator Hollywoodbets. The rollout includes established IGT brands such as Cleopatra, Cash Eruption, and Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis, giving local players access to a globally recognised content portfolio.
The move marks the digital division's entry into one of Africa's fastest-growing iGaming markets and bolsters Hollywoodbets' game library with proven, high-performing content. Both companies intend to release an additional 20 titles in the coming months as the collaboration matures.
According to Gil Rotem, IGT CEO of Digital, the expansion represents "an exciting milestone" for the company as it widens its international footprint. He noted that collaborating with Hollywoodbets enables IGT to deliver engaging, player-favourite games in a dynamic market, ultimately driving long-term value for partners.
Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, stressed the operator's commitment to premium entertainment. "The addition of iconic titles such as Cleopatra and Cash Eruption strengthens our offering," he said, adding that the partnership supports a strategy of offering diverse, high-quality content to a rapidly growing customer base.
Hollywoodbets commands the highest site visitation in the South African iGaming sector, making it a natural launch partner for IGT PlayDigital's initial foray into the region.
