iGaming Professionals to Box for Charity at ICE Barcelona's Midnight Mayhem Fight Night

The iGaming and sports betting sectors are gearing up for a unique charity event, as Midnight Mayhem Fight Night prepares to take over ICE Barcelona on January 19, 2027. Sixteen professionals from across the global industry will step into the boxing ring with a collective goal: to raise €150,000 for various charitable causes. This initiative is a collaborative effort by Behind The Gloves, in partnership with ICE and WorldGaming, and proudly affiliated with WBC Cares UK.

Industry Figures Enter the Ring

For the vast majority of these 16 participants, this marks their debut in a boxing ring. Over the course of the next five months, they will embark on a rigorous personal transformation journey, receiving expert coaching focused on building discipline, confidence, and resilience. Each fighter is carefully matched with an opponent of similar skill, and medical supervision will be constant throughout their training and on fight night, prioritizing safety as they embrace this challenge.

A €150,000 Charitable Endeavor

The ambitious target for the event is to generate €150,000 for charities. These causes are personally nominated by the fighters and impact partners involved, ensuring a deep, individual connection to the fundraising efforts. An independent Charity Advisory Board will oversee the allocation of profits, guaranteeing fairness and maximum community benefit. Additionally, Behind The Gloves will retain 20% of the profits to further expand its wellbeing initiatives, leadership programs, and charitable impact across the global gaming industry.

Spotlight on Adaptive Boxing

A significant feature of the Fight Night will be a landmark showcase from the WBC Adaptive Boxing Program. This powerful display underscores the event's commitment to inclusivity, demonstrating that the sport is accessible to everyone. The Adaptive Boxing Program actively removes barriers, providing safe, high-quality wheelchair-based boxing training and fostering a diverse and accessible community within the sport.
