Gameburger Studios and Games Global Debut 12 Masks of Fire: Night Fever with Split Strike Mechanic

2026-07-30

Gameburger Studios and Games Global have launched 12 Masks of Fire: Night Fever, featuring a new Split Strike mechanic that expands the Epic Strike feature by allowing mask symbols to split, increasing win potential up to 5,000x the stake.

Games Global has added a new title to its portfolio with the release of 12 Masks of Fire: Night Fever, developed by exclusive studio partner Gameburger Studios. The game introduces the Split Strike feature, an enhancement of the established Epic Strike mechanic that opens up fresh winning possibilities.

The latest instalment in the 12 Masks of Fire series shifts the setting to a neon-lit drum party atmosphere. The core Epic Strike feature remains, triggered by landing three or more Epic Strike symbols that carry cash values and feed into a progressive prize ladder. Split Strike adds a random chance for each mask symbol to divide into two, effectively allowing players to exceed the previous 12-mask maximum and unlock larger payouts.

A Tower Bonus guarantees a reward upon activation, offering instant cash prizes or a choice of three drum-themed features: Cash Drum, Jumbo Drum, and the top-tier Drum Frenzy. Each drum feature kicks off with three bonus spins, during which players collect drums to advance through eight levels for a potential top win of 5,000x the stake. An optional Fever Boost mode increases the frequency of high-value symbols and feature triggers, while a Buy Bonus option (available in selected markets) lets players skip directly to the bonus round.

Jamar Graham, Market Readiness & Logistics Lead at Gameburger Studios, called 12 Masks of Fire “one of our most recognisable titles” and explained that the team aimed to “enhance the experience without losing what players loved about the original.” He noted that Split Strike can transform Epic Strike wins and push the feature beyond its traditional limits, especially when combined with Fever Boost.

Dave Reynolds, Director of Games Strategy and Partner Management at Games Global, described the release as “another strong addition” to the company’s growing portfolio. He highlighted how Gameburger Studios “reimagined one of its most popular franchises by introducing a compelling new mechanic while staying true to the gameplay that players know and enjoy.”
