Entain has launched its Sports Interaction and PartyCasino brands in Alberta's regulated iGaming market after receiving AGLC licences, bringing longstanding Canadian operations under provincial oversight with responsible gambling requirements.

Alberta's regulated iGaming market, which launched on July 13, has gained two major brands as Entain transitions Sports Interaction and PartyCasino into the province's official framework. The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) granted licences to both brands on July 23, allowing them to operate under the province's new regulatory regime.

Entain highlighted that the brands have long adhered to standards of fairness, security, and responsible gaming, and noted that Alberta's oversight now ensures those principles are consistently applied across the market. The company's Canadian head, Shir Magen, called Alberta "an exciting next step for regulated online gaming in Canada" and emphasised Entain's local knowledge and commitment to the market. Magen added that "Entain's global scale, technology and industry-leading player protection capabilities allow us to deliver a premium experience tailored specifically for Albertans."

Sports Interaction, which has served Canadian bettors since 1997, offers competitive odds, broad sports coverage, fast payouts, and Canada-based customer support, with operational teams based in Calgary. PartyCasino enters the market with over 3,000 compliant games, live dealer options, slots, 24/7 support, and rapid withdrawal processing.

Alberta’s model follows Ontario’s structure, with the AGLC as regulator and the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) managing market operations. Licensed operators must provide responsible gambling tools, self-assessment resources, time and deposit limits, and obtain RG Check accreditation.
