Bally's Intralot has extended its contract with Premier Lotteries Ireland for seven more years through 2034, deploying new technology platforms to modernize the Irish National Lottery operations.

Bally's Intralot has signed a fresh seven-year contract extension with Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), keeping its technology partnership in place until November 2034. The agreement covers the remainder of PLI's license period for operating the Irish National Lottery.

PLI Chief Executive Cian Murphy pointed to the long-standing relationship, saying: "We are pleased to extend our partnership with Bally’s Intralot, a relationship built on trust, commitment to excellence, and shared ambition since 2014." He added that the renewed deal creates a strong foundation for innovation and growth while ensuring responsible play remains central.

Under the terms, Bally's Intralot will deploy its LotosX Omni solution and PlayerX Player Account Management platform to upgrade PLI's technology infrastructure. These cloud-based systems support both retail and digital lottery channels, offering enhanced retailer management, instant games management, device management, and content management capabilities.

The first year of the contract also includes support and maintenance services, cloud operations, and cybersecurity measures intended to guarantee long-term security, reliability, and performance.

Bally's Intralot Group CEO Robeson Reeves commented: "We are proud to extend our long-standing partnership with Premier Lotteries Ireland for a further seven years." He noted that the extension reflects the trust built over more than a decade of collaboration and the strength of their technology.

According to Bally's Intralot, the modernized platform will allow PLI to improve operational efficiency, accelerate innovation, boost player engagement, and bring new products to market faster. The update also aims to deliver a secure, scalable, and resilient environment while maintaining high service levels for players and retailers across Ireland.
