1spin4win's Business Development Director Olga Hlukhovskaya discusses the studio's five-year evolution from fruit slots to 200 titles and 1,000 partnerships, the shift from organic growth to data-driven partnerships, and leadership lessons that emphasise empowering teams.

Olga Hlukhovskaya, Business Development Director at 1spin4win, recently sat down with Focus Gaming News to reflect on the studio's five-year journey from a niche operator of classic fruit games to a global supplier boasting 200 titles and more than 1,000 partnerships worldwide. In the conversation, she detailed the milestones that shaped the company's growth, the shifting dynamics of the online slot market, and the leadership principles that will guide its next phase.

From fruit slots to narrative-driven adventures

1spin4win launched in 2021 with a mission to bring traditional gambling into digital form. The company's philosophy, summed up as 'No nonsense. Pure gambling,' remains unchanged. Initially, the portfolio consisted entirely of fruit-themed games, establishing a signature style of minimalistic visuals, restrained animation and sound, and balanced gameplay offering frequent wins without extreme multipliers.

Hlukhovskaya joined three years ago, when the studio had already begun branching into themed slots. "When I joined three years ago, 1spin4win was already beginning to move beyond pure fruit content," she noted. Today, the portfolio blends those timeless games with narrative-driven adventures while staying true to its roots. On the business side, Hlukhovskaya took charge of strengthening industry connections, partner relationships, and regional growth strategies.

Milestones over five years

A key early milestone was the release of the 100th slot in 2023, followed later that year by a full rebrand that redefined the provider's identity. In 2024, 1spin4win debuted its own booth at SBC Summit Lisbon, a turning point in industry presence. In April 2025, the studio launched its first story-driven Japanese slot saga, a creative gamble that paid off when the opening chapter won Casino Title of the Year at the Affiliate Leaders Awards 2025.

Later in 2025, the company crossed the 1,000-partner mark, and by April 2026 its portfolio reached 200 titles – all still classic slots, underscoring a long-term commitment to traditional gameplay. Recent metrics reinforce the momentum: compared to H1 2025, 1spin4win recorded a 47% increase in GGR and a 46.66% rise in bet count. At iGB L!VE 2026, the studio was named Slot Studio of the Year at the inaugural iGaming News Awards.

Industry evolution: organic growth is no longer enough

Hlukhovskaya observed that the market has become significantly more crowded, making niche focus and quality content essential. "Organic growth alone is no longer enough," she said, stressing the need for long-term client relationships, loyalty maintenance, and continuous effort to secure content visibility and positioning.

She also highlighted the growing importance of aggregators, noting that direct integrations have become less realistic for both casinos and providers due to the sheer number of brands. Additional trends include rapid development of the crypto segment, strong growth of sweepstakes casinos, and tightening local regulations across various markets.

Leadership lessons: empower the team

On leadership, Hlukhovskaya advocates against doing everything alone. A leader's role, she explained, is to see the bigger picture, set direction, and distribute tasks so the team performs optimally. "It is very important to understand each team member's strengths and create space for them to shine," she said, adding that combining different perspectives often yields the best results.

Looking ahead

Hlukhovskaya finds motivation in seeing the current strategy deliver strong results with room to grow. "It gives me confidence that we are moving in the right direction," she said, while acknowledging the road ahead includes new markets, partnerships, and ideas to turn into real results.

She also outlined five guiding principles: treat each client individually, measure and analyse everything, let data guide decisions, know that every problem has a solution, and recognise potential to help it grow.
