History and Founding

Swintt was founded in April 2019 in Ta' Xbiex, Malta, with the ambition of becoming a leading digital gaming provider focused on localised content for regulated markets. The company quickly established itself in the iGaming supply chain by combining innovative slot mechanics with the aesthetic appeal of traditional land-based machines. Bootstrapped from the start, Swintt has achieved consistent growth without external funding, a notable feat in a capital-intensive industry.

Leadership

David Mann joined Swintt as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020, was promoted to CEO in 2022, and announced his departure in late 2025 to become CEO of Playnetic, effective January 2026. Christian Curmi serves as Head of Technology (CTO equivalent). No other C-suite executives have been publicly confirmed. The company’s headcount is not disclosed but estimated at between 50 and 100 employees.
